It's freaking cold here right now - Germany is once again a big grey blob on the weather-satelite photos.
Well, it fits to the situation right now - I was totally shocked hearing from the terror in London yesterday. Still can't really believe it.
Speaking of things that piss me of: the G8.
Right now they act really nice and understanding, speaking about helping Africa - or whatever pleases the masses. I read a really interesting article about development help being really bad for Africe (I asume that can be generalized for all so called third world countries) because it totally destroys the econmoy in those countries - why would anybody buy food from local farmers if there's really cheap one supplied by the industry nations?
The article made me think - I don't think helping Africa is a bad thing but Europe and America really should think about the consequences of their help and if its really helping them (especially in long terms).
